Working Together
When someone reaches out about working with me, the same two questions usually come up:
What does this actually look like?
And how do you get paid?
Let’s start there.

What Working Together Looks Like
This is an ongoing advisory relationship built around helping you make better financial decisions over time.
We build a strategy around:
- where you are trying to go
- how much volatility you can reasonably handle
- how taxes may affect your long-term outcome
From there, your investments, planning, and major financial decisions are coordinated around the same strategy.
My role is to:
- guide your allocation
- help you stay disciplined when markets become emotional
- and keep your portfolio aligned with your long-term goals
Some clients are just beginning to invest with more purpose.
Others are managing accumulated wealth, approaching retirement, or preparing for a liquidity event.
Wherever you are in that process, the objective is the same:
bring structure to your financial strategy and manage the portfolio that supports it.
I keep my practice intentionally focused so I can give each relationship consistent attention and thoughtful guidance.
How I Get Paid
For advisory relationships, I am compensated based on the assets I manage.
The annual advisory fee starts at 1.20% and begins to decrease once managed assets exceed $25,000. As your portfolio grows, your effective rate gradually comes down.
Fees are calculated and deducted quarterly. You may also choose to pay them separately.
Most clients are managed through a Strategic Asset Management account.
Minimum to start: $10,000
If you’re not there yet, we can still begin the conversation.
In some cases, a brokerage account is a good starting point while building toward a fully managed relationship.
The Process
1. Discovery
We begin with a conversation about your goals, your current accounts, and what you want your money to accomplish.
2. Organization
If we decide to move forward, I help organize the structure.
That may include:
- identifying scattered accounts
- reviewing old employer plans
- coordinating transfers
The objective is to create one coordinated strategy instead of several disconnected pieces.
3. Investment and Planning
Once the accounts are in place, I build and manage your portfolio.
Investment management and planning are handled together so each decision supports the broader strategy.
4. Ongoing Guidance
We stay connected as your life, goals, and financial circumstances change.
My role is to keep the strategy aligned, make adjustments when needed, and help you remain focused on the long term.
The First Step
If you’re considering working together, the next step is simple.
We have a conversation.
No pressure. No obligation. Just a chance to see if this makes sense for you.
